Terms of Service

Orangey is a document collection platform that allows professionals ("Clients") to send document requests to their customers ("Customers") via a unique link, collect files and data, and review submissions through a dashboard.

These Terms apply to Clients who create accounts. Customers who access the platform via a submission link are subject to our Privacy Policy but do not enter into a contractual relationship with Zendo Works directly — their relationship is with the Client who sent them the link.

You must be at least 18 years old and have the legal authority to enter into a binding contract to use the Service. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you meet these requirements.

You must use the Service only for lawful professional purposes in connection with your business activities as a mortgage broker, insurance advisor, accountant, property professional, or similar regulated or professional role.

You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and for all activity that occurs under it. You must notify us immediately at hello@orangey.co if you suspect unauthorised access to your account.

Authentication is handled via magic links sent to your registered email address. You are responsible for the security of your email account.

Orangey offers the following plans:

All prices are exclusive of VAT where applicable. Payment is processed by Stripe. By subscribing, you authorise us to charge your payment method on a recurring monthly basis until you cancel. Prices may change with 30 days notice to your registered email address.

You may cancel your Pro subscription at any time through the billing portal in your account settings. Your subscription will remain active until the end of the current billing period, after which your account will revert to the Free plan.

We do not offer refunds for partial months. If you cancel mid-month, you retain access to Pro features until the billing period ends.

In exceptional circumstances (e.g. accidental double charge, technical failure on our part), refunds may be considered at our discretion. Contact hello@orangey.co.

You must not use the Service to:

• Collect documents or data without the knowledge or consent of the individuals you are requesting from
• Process personal data in a manner that violates UK GDPR or any applicable data protection law
• Upload, store, or transmit malicious software, illegal content, or content that infringes third-party rights
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the platform or its infrastructure
• Resell, sublicense, or white-label the Service without our written consent
• Use the Service in any way that could damage, disable, or impair the platform

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms without notice.

You are responsible as a data controller for the personal data of your customers that you collect through the platform. You must ensure you have a lawful basis for collecting that data and that your use of the platform complies with your obligations under UK GDPR and any other applicable law.

By using the Service, you appoint Zendo Works as a data processor on your behalf for the purpose of document collection and storage. Our processing activities are described in our Privacy Policy.

On the Pro plan, uploaded files are processed by Anthropic (Claude AI) and/or Mistral AI for document verification purposes. By using AI verification, you confirm you have the appropriate basis to share your customers' documents with these processors.

The Orangey platform, including its design, software, and content, is owned by Zendo Works and protected by intellectual property law. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the Service for its intended purpose during your subscription.

You retain ownership of all documents and data you upload to the platform. By using the Service, you grant us a limited licence to store and process that content solely to provide the Service to you.

We aim to provide a reliable service but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. The platform may be unavailable during scheduled maintenance, due to third-party service failures (e.g. Azure, Stripe, Clerk), or for reasons outside our control.

We are not liable for any loss or damage caused by downtime or service interruptions.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Zendo Works shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or business opportunities, arising out of or in connection with your use of the Service.

Our total liability to you for any claim arising under these Terms shall not exceed the total fees paid by you to us in the 3 months preceding the claim.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot be excluded under English law.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Zendo Works, its directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the Service, your breach of these Terms, or your violation of any applicable law or third-party right.

You may close your account at any time by contacting hello@orangey.co. We may suspend or terminate your account if you breach these Terms, fail to pay subscription fees, or if we discontinue the Service.

Upon termination, your data will be retained for a period in accordance with our Privacy Policy, after which it will be deleted.

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email to your registered address at least 30 days before they take effect. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
